It’s National Farmers Market Week, as proclaimed by the United States Department of Agriculture. Here in Wisconsin, we’re no strangers to our local markets, and there are hundreds of them throughout the state. On this edition of Wisconsin Weekend, we celebrate our state’s farmers markets, discuss what makes them special, and talk about what late-summer and early-fall produce you’re likely to find at the market in the coming weeks.
