Health researchers now have a new tool to measure obesity in Wisconsin. A searchable map released this week breaks down obesity statistics across the state – by zip code – and uses data from physicians, rather than data that’s been self-reported. The result is a much clearer picture of obesity rates in Wisconsin, and where the biggest areas of concerns can be found. This hour, two researchers break the latest data, and how doctors and public health officials can use it to better fight obesity across the state.
