Aug. 28, 71st Assembly And 14th Senate

Beginning Aug. 28, Wisconsin Public Radio will cover races for State Senate and Assembly in central and northern Wisconsin in a series of short-form interviews with the candidates. The conversations will be broadcast through September on “Route 51.” On Aug. 28, Shereen Siewert features the 71st State Assembly with incumbent Katrina Shankland-D and challenger Scott Soik-R, both of Stevens Point. The two candidates vying for Wisconsin’s 14th Senate district, Joan Ballweg-R, Markesan, and Joni Anderson-D, Adams, will also share their perspectives.
