Route 51 examines a recently released report titled “The Future of Farming and Rural Life in Wisconsin.” The 238 page booklet was compiled from a 30 month public policy initiative undertaken by the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters. It contains both a factual look at the status, trends and issues currently facing rural Wisconsin, and a set of 83 recommendations on how to address the challenges and opportunities they pose.
