This week we preview the 25th annual Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, which takes place June 20th through June 22nd in rural Custer, east of Stevens Point. Our guests are: Ellie Jackson, Events Coordinator of the Midwest Renewable Energy Association; and keynote speaker Marcin Jakubowski of Open Source Ecology, a company that is developing a set of blueprints of 50 of the most important machines for modern civilization, to give individuals and small groups of people the means of decentralized production for local economies. This year’s Energy Fair will feature over 200 exhibitors and 200 workshops, including a clean transportation show and green building demonstrations.
