A new effort to make the Wausau area a premier mountain biking destination is the focus of Route 51 this week.Local cyclists want Wausau to become one of only a handful ofInternational Mountain Biking Association Ride Centers, which could bring thousands of new tourists to the area.Guests include:Hansi Johnson, Midwest Regional Director of the International Mountain Biking Association; Matt Block, member of the board of directors of the Wausau based Off Road Cycling Coalition; and Bill Duncanson,Director of the Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
