The book details the true story of Frank Kovak Jr., an amateur astronomy enthusiast who built a working planetarium from scratch in rural Rhinelander. Host Glen Moberg will ask the authors about the hard work and perseverance that made Frank Kovak’s improbable dream come true, and what that says about the rest of us.
Legro is a freelance writer and former reporter, columnist and editor for the Milwaukee Sentinel. Lank is an essayist for Milwaukee Public Radio, and a former reporter and editor for the Milwaukee Sentinel and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Kovak’s planetarium is still in operation and open to the public.
