October 17, 2013: US Government Shutdown and Debt Ceiling

For the second week in a row, Route 51 focuses on the debate over the government shutdown and the debt ceiling crisis. Host Glen Moberg will moderate a discussion with Ed Miller, Professor of Political Science at UW-Stevens Point and Co-Director of the Center for the Small City; and Eric Giordano, Associate Professor of Political Science at UW-Marathon County, and Director of the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service. Ironically, this program will air on October 17^th, the U.S. government’s debt ceiling default date.
