Politics & President Obama’s First Year

This week we’ll look at the state of politics in America one year into the Obama presidency. Guests will be Republican analyst Walter John Chilsen of Weston and Democratic analyst John Smart of Park Falls to discuss a broad range of topics, including the ongoing debate over the impact of the federal stimulus bill, the impasse over health care reform, the lack of bipartisanship and the use of the filibuster in the U.S. Senate, the tea party movement, the effort to reform financial markets, the recent Supreme Court ruling on corporations and campaigns, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and trials for terrorism suspects.
