Gambling was once seen as a seedy, underground activity in America…but now, the majority of states allow some form of legalized gambling, and politicians now seem to be holding the cards. While supporters say you can’t argue with the tax revenue gambling brings in, others worry about the potential social and economic problems created by this shift.
