The White House, the National Rifle Association, and top Republicans have signaled a willingness to discuss restriction of a device that was used to accelerate gunfire in the mass shooting in Las Vegas this week. The incident left at least 58 dead and hurt hundreds more. It also caused the debate over guns in the country to flare up.

Meanwhile, President Trump visited hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico amid criticism over federal response and the U.S. Supreme Court heard opening arguments in redistricting case that could have far-reaching implications beyond Wisconsin. Also, a legislative committee voted to lift Wisconsin’s sulfide mining moratorium, and a Racine County site has been picked for the Foxconn manufacturing facility.

We discuss these headlines and more with two guests of differing political perspectives during the Week in Review.
