Tim Kaufman’s 6-year-old English setter, Ali, won the Wisconsin Cover Dog Championship this month — and later finished fifth in the national competition, which was held in Wisconsin for the first time. We talk with Tim about how dogs are trained for bird hunting and what makes Ali a champion.
