The Green Bay Packers can extend their lead in the NFC North with a win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The Packers have won the division on their way to the conference title game each of the last two years.

The Vikings will host the Packers at noon. It’s the first meeting of the year between the rivals.

Green Bay has a long injury list going into Week 11. Still, no team has more wins than the Packers this season. And one of Green Bay’s two losses came when quarterback Aaron Rodgers was out with COVID-19. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday with a toe injury. He plans to play Sunday, he said.

Quarterback coach Luke Getsy said Rodgers is still present during practices – even if he’s not suiting up. He’s still talking to receivers after each ball is thrown.

“I think those conversations are happening. We’re all on the same page,” Getsy said this week.

Wide receiver Davante Adams said he’s happy with where the team stands, especially on defense.

The Packers beat the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 1 of the 2020 season. There were no fans in attendance due to COVID-19.

“It gets pretty loud there definitely. It’s been a minute since we had to deal with it,” Adams said. “But I’m looking forward to it. I love a loud vibrant stadium. We’ll see if we can give them not so much to be loud about.”

Even though the Packers are favored, pundits have highlighted this week as a potential trap game given their big matchup coming up against the talented Los Angeles Rams.

AJ Dillon buys Packers stock, receives key to Door County

It was a busy week off the field for sophomore running back AJ Dillon. Destination Door County awarded him a key to the county in honor of his outspoken passion for the locale. He basically lives there during the summer, and during the season, he heads up on most off days too, he said.

“On a good victory Monday, I try to get up there to AC Tap and get some victory wings in, and the rest follows. Maybe a little Al Johnson’s for Tuesday breakfast. I could go on and on with this,” he told reporters this week.

Wisconsin quickly started to feel like home for Dillon, he said. His fiancée is from the area, and her family has a home in Door County.

Dillon also bought a share in the Packers organization this week. The franchise launched its sixth stock offering Tuesday. He tweeted a screenshot of his confirmation with the caption: “Self Employed.”

Dillon has already had a strong season, and he’s likely to see more action than ever with running back Aaron Jones spraining his knee last week.
