The bitter cold temperatures that have caused school closings and difficult driving in Wisconsin are about to give way to more seasonable weather.
Meteorologist Brad Miller of the National Weather Service in Milwaukee says the system that moved into the state following the weekend winter storm is headed out.
“We have an arctic area of high pressure that is in the process of moving through the area. That brought all the cold conditions,” Miller said. “Thankfully it’s on its way out – we’ll see moderating temperatures back up in the 20s and 30s over the next several days, which ought to feel pretty warm.”
