The first hijab-wearing fashion model has been visiting college campuses throughout Wisconsin this week to speak about her personal journey and her experience as a young, Muslim woman in the spotlight. We talk with her about her activism and career as a fashion model. We also talk about what keeps some citizens from showing up to the polls, even as companies and groups try to make voting more accessible. In this installment of our series of interviews with Wisconsin candidates for Congress, we speak with Dan Kohl. Dan Kohl is a lawyer, who has been a Milwaukee Bucks executive and a lobbyist for the pro-Israel firm J Street. Kohl is the democratic candidate running to represent Wisconsin’s 6th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. He’s running against republican incumbent Glenn Grothman.
