Ferguson Commission Unveils Its Recommendations
On Monday, the Ferugson Commission released a nearly 200-page report of recommended changes to address racial disparities in the St. Louis area. The commission was created by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon after a white police officer shot and killed an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson last August. The teenager’s death set off riots and violence in Ferguson and sparked larger questions about race relations in the United States. A reporter from the area discusses the commission’s report.
